The first thing I noticed was the nylon fabric has a nice woven pattern and feels nice to the touch. I also liked the rigid plastic insert which gives the bag a bit of a spine so its easier to place things into it. My use for this seat bag is for commuting. I fit a pair of pants, t-shirt, belt, wallet with still plenty of space for other things, such as probably another pair of pants at least. The final thing that I really liked about this bicycle bag is that when you cinch the bag tight enough to the saddle rails it does not flop about even when riding out of the saddle, the key is cinching the straps tight enough. I am happy with my purchase and am happy to see this is made in the USA.Update 8/09/2018:I have used this bag recently on numerous rides and have noticed a few things, - you will still get the bag swaying more than usual if you place your heavy items at the top, make sure to place the heavy items at the bottom of the bag, so that its more bottom heavy.- i have been caught in light rain and sprinkles and the items inside have been kept dry- one thing that could be better is how the bag attaches to the seat post, it would be better to have a wider strap or two straps going around the seatpost for more rigidity
