These drawers look to be constructed well. I had no issue with the dovetail joints. They were easy to install. There are no instructions for removing the drawer from the rails, I am sure it can be done, but I was too impatient to figure it out. That being said, once you have the back screws secured, the drawer slides out enough to have access to the front screw holes. They didn't come in the perfect size for me, but I can store some stuff in the gaps along the sides, so all is well. They slide nicely and will make my kitchen life much easier. Totally worth it.I bought four of these as part of a kitchen cabinet renovation. I wish there had been a paper mounting guide printed out, because it would have simplified the process of placing the dots for the pilot holes, because to slide the drawer in and out to determine the pilot hole size is a pain. These drawers are designed to be installed into an existing cabinet. However I needed at least 16" of clearance above the cabinet to fit in my drill. This meant that I had to remove the shelves above the installation site (and everything on those shelves). you will need at least 16" of clearance, and preferably more, above wherever your drawer will be. For each drawer you must drill four (4) pilot holes into the bottom of your cabinet. This step should not be skipped, and to fit the drill in you need overhead space. For this reason, the drawer will *not* work as a top drawer immediately under the top of a cabinet, unless you remove the cabinet top to install it. You simply must have access from above. When I drilled my pilot holes, I found it best to use a slightly larger bit than the one specified. Before installing your drawer, check the fit to ensure you do not bump against your hinges. This is especially important if you are using soft-close hinges. Because of where mine were placed, I had to Dremel out a notch in each door. There is about 3/4" of space on each side of the front face of each drawer so the notch did not affect the drawer capacity or operation.Overall this has been an excellent product. I'm a female in her late 40s with bad knees, and if I can install this drawer, so can you. This product arrived in perfect condition and has high quality materials/construction. Very easy to install. But please measure very carefully regarding the width of the most narrow part of the cabinet opening (which in my case is the inside width of the cabinet door hinges, not the width of the cabinet opening). My hinge opening was exactly 14.5" so I thought I'd be ok with a 14" wide drawer. However, while the drawer width was exactly 14", the total width needed was actually 14.5" because the front of the drawer is approx. 1/4" wider that the drawer/sliders. Happily, it only took about 5 minutes to cut off that overhang on each side and thus reduce it to 14". Doing so, in theory at least, made the drawer fit perfectly. In practice, getting the railings screwed down so that the drawer slid out exactly through the openings between the hinges without touching them was a bit harder than I anticipated. I finally got it, and didn't need to drill extra holes, but it wasn't simple, partly because trying to get into the cabinet and mark/drill holes isn't easy in a 14" wide cabinet. I'm buying another of these for another (wider) cabinet because I really like the way it works and looks, but for this next one I'm ordering it two inches narrower than the hinge openings to avoid the need to get it EXACTLY centered between the hinges so the drawer pulls out ok.really like the looks and works for what I needed. seems to stick when pulling out, need a little tug to get started. Thought it may wear in but used many time still have the same spot I need to pull harder to get it started. Then moves smoothly. These are indeed heavy duty shelves, emphasis on heavy. Clearly hard wood to be that heavy. Strong piece (no bowing) of masonite(?) for drawer bottom, with attractive finish. Quality all around. The drawer was so perfect for our needs, that we are ordering 4 more today for the rest of the adjustable shelves.I installed this on an adustable/removable shelf in a 16 " pantry cabinet that is too deep and narrow to see what is in the back half. MFG said they would not recomment installing on an adjustable shelf. I bought extra long, metal, shelf pins for under the shelf. When I installed, it went well. bracket has a bit of spring to it, so careful with hole markings. In place in the cabinet, the shelf tiped down when full extended with soup cans in front. solution was to put additional shelf pins above the adjustable shelf to catch the attempt to lif thte back of the shelf. Worked well. Will shim between shelf and upper pins, so there is no movement. My cabinet has shelf pin holes front, back and middle on each side. Not sure just front and back would be sturdy enough.Delivery was moved but came within a reasonable time. They could have made it easier to install by making it easier to remove the drawer slide from the slide. It was very difficult to work around. The drawer itself was narrow more than I expected. Pans won't lay flat causing less storage then before the drawer was installed.Extremely easy to install. We had pull out shelving for the top shelf of each of the bottom kitchen cabinets when we had new kitchen cabinets installed. We finally got tired of pulling things out to get to things in the back on the bottom shelving. These work just fine. You do lose some space when these are installed but we knew that because of the top pull out shelves we already had. I have 2 of this size and just ordered a larger size. They seem well put together and the material used is slightly better than our top pull out shelving. This one fit my unusual space perfectly. Only neg is action is stiff. Might free-up with use.
